Mantle Mix-Up: Easter Edition

Happy hump day! Today we are debuting a new series called “Mantle Mix-Up.” Betsy and I both enjoy decorating our mantles according to season and holiday.  We thought it would be fun to showcase each of our mantles in one post to help inspire your own ideas.

Our current mantles are, of course, all about Easter. In reviewing our mantles, one thing is for certain, we both love us some Target. First up let’s take a look at Betsy’s.

A couple weeks ago Betsy attended Board and Brush and made the Peter Cottontail sign. I was unable to attend that night, but have gone three times in the past and it’s such a fun girls night! Also it’s a good thing I didn’t go or my mantle would look a lot like Betsy’s – that sign is on my wish list! Her Easter egg trees and “Happy Easter” bunting are both from the Target dollar spot. The ceramic bunny is from Target as well.

I also own the same bunting and Easter egg tree, but am using them elsewhere in my home. Seriously, Target dollar spot is just mean. I try to shield my eyes (and wallet) when I walk in, but my strength has yet to be proven that strong. But now, let’s mix things up and take a look at my mantle!

We can start by continuing the love for the Target dollar spot by pointing out the gold foiled Easter egg garland, bunny tin bucket and the fur pillow on the chair (pillow purchased over Christmas so no longer available). The old window I picked up at a flea market a few summers ago, the Happy Easter wooden sign was a clearance find at Kohl’s last year and the other photo was created by the Overflowing Bucket.

Seriously, I’ve become addicted to her store. Every holiday she comes out with these cute themed family prints. I have a Halloween one, a Christmas one and now this one. She usually unveils them on the flash sale site Pick Your Plum, but even their regular price, I think, is a great value. Isn’t it darling? The faux plant inside the metal bucket and the candle pillars are from TJ Maxx. The wreath is something I’ve had laying around forever.

Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a peek at our first ever mantle mix-up! Do you switch up your decor too? How are you decorating for spring/Easter? Do tell!
